Millions of people are looking for diets that will get them losing weight quickly, but there can be
complications. When losing weight quickly, you have to be certain that you are losing weight safely too.
Losing Weight Quickly
If you spend just five minutes doing some research, possibly on the Internet, you will soon
see that conventional weight loss thinking says that the only safe way of losing weight is at the rate of two
pounds a week. If losing weight quickly is achieved by the use of drugs, chemicals, or harsh stimulants such as
ephedra, ma huang and caffeine, then conventional thinking is correct. After all, what good is losing weight
quickly at, say, the rate of 15 pounds or more in a month, if you damage or completely lose the use of your
liver or kidneys?
These 'miracle" weight loss methods only result in a miracle if they do not damage your body organs
and bodily functions, or kill you in the process. Having said that, there is are several ways of losing weight
quickly, while at the same time improving your overall health. Both involve a combination of high protein foods or
drinks and a common sense approach to "regular" meals. Supplements are also involved to remove the buildup of
toxins in our bodies. These toxins are ingested by all of us in a variety of ways: bad air, chemically enhanced
public water, and pesticide coated foods, etc.
These foreign invaders are isolated by our bodies in fat cells, where they do the least damage to our system.
These fat cells are then surrounded by water (like the way a castle used moats to protect against invaders, only in
reverse. The invaders are trapped in the cell and surrounded by water to keep them there).
Once the toxins have been flushed from our bodies, the fat cells are then burned up as a source of energy, and
the excess water is absorbed or flushed out too. This can result in losing weight quickly (I lost eight pounds in
my first seven days, twenty pounds in the first thirty days and forty-eight pounds lost in a hundred days).
You need to make sure that your body gets enough protein every day. You can accomplish this using a protein
supplement (normally in powdered form) which you mix into a drink (or a shake or a soup) or by eating more meat and
cheese.
At the same time, you will want to limit or stop all together your intake of bad carbohydrates like potato
products, popcorn, rice, and flour, etc. If done properly, this will cause your body to begin to burn the excess
fat you have stored up. You will also need to eliminate all your sources of refined sugars. Sodas are the biggest
offenders here, but coffee with any form of sweetener will slow down your weight loss as well.
For your normal three meals a day, try to limit your caloric intake to about 600 calories each and your body
will overnight become a fat burning machine. Add in a little walking, a mile or so to begin if you are in any
reasonable shape, less if you are not and you are only a month away from losing weight quickly and safely.
